A drain liner is a cylindrical tube structure made from polymer infused resin, which bonds to and seals the existing pipe.

The use of a liner saves the costly process of excavating the drain to replace a cracked or broken section.

Using CCTV images, we can accurately place a patch or liner in the section of pipe that needs repair.

RELINING A DRAIN

How we seal the pipe may depend on the type of liner used. We are certified contractors to use Renoline drain liners. Generally, as mentioned, the liner (patch) is made up of a resin impregnated tubular polymer. The liner is inserted into the pipe and a high-pressure air balloon is placed inside. This is then inflated until the liner is in contact with and takes the exact profile of the pipe.

The resin in the liner adheres to the wall of the pipe. Some liners heated with hot air to initiate the resin binding process. The process is fast and once the binding process is complete the liner becomes rigid, moulded exactly to the profile of the original pipe structure. The pipe is now repaired and ready to use.

Unlike many drainage engineers we also offer full-length liners. When installed inside the pipe these liners seal the whole length making the drain as good as new.
